Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has received numerous awards for her works. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Her family was an artistic family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. When she was an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to modeling and acting. Her first two movies she received recognition as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. With just three movies MacGraw became the most popular female box office actress worldwide. Handprints, signatures and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
