Lindsey Vonn is an American skier, born on October 18, 1984. She retired in 2010 after winning 4 World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal for downhill skiing. Vonn is ranked second to the top of the world in super scores for male and female skiers. She is one of the greatest skiers ever and the most well-liked skier in America. United States. Caroline Vonn who is also is known as Lindsey Vonn and competes as the World Cup's skier for The US Ski Team. There are four overall World Cup victories. She has an extensive and prestigious history in American sports. She is one of six women who have been crowned every event of the World Cup circuit. She was the winner of 82 World Cups. World-class athlete and one of the most popular ski racers has taken a decision to step down following the World Championships which take place in Sweden. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of illnesses. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. Next week I'll compete in the final race of my professional career at the Downhill and SG World Championships in Re Sweden.
