Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She came to California at the age of five. She grew up primarily in Orange County. In 2015, she graduated from University of California San Diego and got her first break in acting. Pernas she had appeared in tiny appearances in NCIS as well as Leverage before landing the role in the role of Marisa in The Young and the Restless she was a well-known face on the soap opera. The actress was cast as Catalina on Jane the Virgin after she left the soap opera. The actress speaks four languages. She has appeared as Catalina in The Brave with Hannah Rivera in addition to The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Her character Lexi Vaziri was on Blood & Treasure between the year 2019 between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas has been dating her ex- The Young and the Restless actor Justin Hartley. This was after Chrishell Stause (the spouse to the This Is Us actor) was able to break up with him in the month of November and Pernas started dating Hartley.
