Sofia and Ann

A native of Morocco, Sofia Pernas moved to California in the year she turned 5 old. She was raised at home in Orange County. She earned her degree of the University of California, San Diego in 2015, the same year she got her breakthrough in acting. Pernas was a guest on a couple of episodes on NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the part of Marisa in The Young and the Restless. After a break from the soap-opera she was offered a character role of Catalina on Jane the Virgin. The four-language model has appeared on The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. From 2019 through 2020, she appeared as Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas is dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The star of This is Us Pernas first began dating Justin Hartley in the wake of her breakup from Chrishell Stause who was her wedding ring since November of 2019. News came out in May 2021 that Pernas and Hartley recently tied the knot during a secret ceremony.
